Hey y’all-

So we returned home safe from a magical West Coast tour that ended in beautiful Red Rocks in CO.  We are pleased to announce that we are hard at work on our next studio album – it’s shaping up to be a six song EP that walks a line between electronica and dance rock – definitely a bit of a departure from our previous work, but it still has some of that old soul!

While we work on getting that finished we are taking a bit of a hiatus from playing shows for a few months. HOWEVER – we have one show coming up this Halloween at Hotel Utah in SF.  Super stoked for this show and to be playing with Stone Foxes.  So mark your calendars early cause this may be your only chance to see us for a while!

Greetings!  I’m currently getting my day started to a little Girl Talk (who knows how to throw a dance party-evident in Wendy Darling’s picture blog on the space).  Speaking of which: this fall tour is going to be of epic proportions.  Nate, Cori, Jon, and Hector have a pretty jam packed schedule, with shows from San Diego to Bend (it like Beckham), Oregon, from Boise to the mile high city itself (Denver).  Hundreds of Wendy Darling pops went out (be on the lookout-select flava flavs get a free CD redeemable at that show!).  Needless to say, September is going to be a jam packed month.  But all roads lead to…Monolith!  This yearly festival promises to be one helluva party.  If you’re able to make it-bring an extra pair of socks.  You’ll probably wear through the first.  Bottom line-Wendy Darling is going to rock this upcoming month.  So grab your smarties sucker, shove everyone into your car, and I’ll see you soon.
